Don't Speak

There are times Mothers and daughters don't/shouldn't speak. This is one of those times.

What does a mother say when her daughter calls and tells her she's done something the mother is sure is a terrible mistake? Nothing.

I'm going to avoid her till I can be around her without asking 'What in the hell were you thinking?" Until then I don't need to see her. I love her too much to do that kind of damage. The distance will cause damage but not nearly as much as speaking would.
